Award-winning wildlife photographer Dawn Wilson is Evergreen Camera Club’s speaker on Wednesday, October 11. Her presentation will focus on photographing the wildlife of Alaska with a particular focus on summer and fall seasons. Dawn will cover special travel considerations for Alaska, what to expect when photographing in Alaska, tips for successful photography, a little background about wildlife in Alaska and its similarities to Colorado wildlife, and where to photograph wildlife in Alaska.
Dawn Wilson is a professional and award-winning photographer specializing in photographing the wildlife of high altitudes and high latitudes of the Rocky Mountains and Alaska. After working in corporate marketing positions for 20 years, Dawn took the plunge into pursuing writing and photography full time.
