Gary's program is: Introduction to the Shiras Moose

Gary Gray is a professional wildlife and nature photographer who has
been featured in local print & television news media as well as
published in local, national and international print publications, books
and magazines.

Retired from The Wall Street Journal in 2007, he now spends his time
alternating between Red Feather Lakes and Littleton, practicing his
craft in Colorado.

For our October 2014 members meeting, Gary will do a presentation on
photographing Colorado's Shiras Moose.

SEPTEMBER 10, 2014 MONTHLY MEETING - 7pm (6:30 SOCIAL TIME)- BERGEN PARK FIRE STATION- PRESENTER: ANDREW KELLEY

The speaker for September 10, 2014 will be Andrew Kelley. His talk is titled "Preparing to Photograph the Fall" and will be about fall photography in Colorado.

AUGUST 13, 2014 MONTHLY MEETING - 7pm (6:30 SOCIAL TIME)- BERGEN PARK FIRE STATION- PRESENTER: DONNA DANNEN

Our speaker for August will be Donna Dannen, a long time member of Evergreen Camera Club
Her program title is: Patience, Observation, Proficiency, Serendipity: Photographing the Wildlife Around You
Donna will talk about learning about the wildlife around us and using that knowledge plus photography proficiency to create interesting images that tell a story.
She will create a calendar of interesting animal behavior around Evergreen, plus some insight to the when’s where’s and how’s of finding wildlife activity for the best photos.

JULY 9, 2014 MONTHLY MEETING - 7pm (6:30 SOCIAL TIME)- BERGEN PARK FIRE STATION- PRESENTATION ABOUT NEBRASKA SANDHILL CRANES

Our presenter for July 9 will be Don Brockmeier from Eustis,Nebraska. He is a
volunteer at Rowe Sanctuary in Nebraska and his presentation is
entitled "Rowe Sanctuary and the Cranes".
It will show the activities for Rowe Audubon Sanctuary located south
of Gibbon NE on the Platte River especially during the Great Sandhill
Crane Migration and others during the year. Including what a visitor
will see from the blinds to other wildlife and nature visible from
hiking the trails ending with a video on the Greater Prairie Chicken.

JUNE, 2014 MONTHLY MEETING, JUNE 11 - 7pm (6:30 SOCIAL TIME)- BERGEN PARK FIRE STATION- PRESENTATION ABOUT DENVER MOUNTAIN PARKS

The June, 2014 monthly meeting will be a presentation by Sally White of Denver Mountain Parks and Marty Homolo who has managed the bison herd at Genessee Park for over 40 years. Come to hear about Denver Mountain Parks which has a large presence in Evergreen and learn more about the bison herd that many of us enjoy photographing.

The speaker for the May 14, 2014 meeting will be Steve Sumner, the executive director of the Center for the Arts of Evergreen

David Smith, photographer and owner of Timberline Gallery in Evergreen will present a program on the photography he has been doing around the west since he last spoke to our club and also about some experimental photography he has been working on.

Dan Ballard is an internationally known travel and landscape photographer from Colorado. His images take you on a visual journey to some of the world's most beautiful and far-reaching corners. Dan has visited nearly 50 countries on 5 continents around the globe, and his work has attracted the attention and praise of some of the biggest names and companies in the photo industry.

JANUARY 8, 2014 GENERAL MEETING - BERGEN PARK FIRE STATION 7pm (6:30 SOCIAL TIME) SPEAKER: STEVE SUMNER

Steve Sumner, Executive Director of the Center for the Arts Evergreen, has been involved with the visual and performing arts throughout his entire career. Sumner is a designer and visual artist; he has a B.S. in design and photography from the University of Michigan and an MFA in painting and printmaking from the University of Massachusetts. Sumner has been a professor of art and senior university administrator. He remains today a strong advocate for arts education and arts in the schools.
