We live in a land of wildlife photography wonders. Our Tips and Techniques program is pertinent to anyone who ventures out to encounter wildlife with the idea of adding to our photo collections. We can inadvertently harm some creatures while others can harm us.

Be sure to attend to learn the ethical and responsible ways to be successful and safe with a camera in our wild lands!

FIELD TRIP – WINTER PARK SLED DOG RACES – SUNDAY, JANUARY 24

On Sunday 1/24, we’ll travel to Winter Park to the Sled Dog Races! We’ll meet at Evergreen’s Buchanan Rec Center at 7:45. We’ll figure out carpools when we get there.

We’ll plan on getting to Winter Park a little before 10 a.m. and spend a few hours with the dogs. Then, we’ll plan to head back a little ahead of the ski traffic, probably around 2 p.m.

Title: Travels and photography in Iceland

A long time resident of Colorado, Steve Goodman has been photographing the world’s animals and birds for more than thirty years. And, horror of horrors, he still uses Minolta and Sony equipment. In real life he is a physician and biochemical geneticist at University of Colorado School of Medicine. His work can be seen on his own web site, at www.artworknetwork.com, and at the Reed Photo-Art Gallery at 833 Santa Fe, in Denver.
